| Help needed w/ ex-pen--please Anyone know how to rig an ex-pen so that a yorkie that wants out, , can not pull it all out of shape and end up with a small bit left to be in? I have to leave Milo behind in his ex-pen today and would like to be able to not be visualizing him all folded up in the pen while I'm out. Thanks so much in advance! |

What I've done is place the x-pen on rubber 12 inch tiles "Wal Mart" in the sports section (very inexpensive) also keeps knees protected. Once in place I match up tiles with the corners of the x-pen, punch holes and secure the x-pen to the tiles with tie wraps......x-pens cannot be pushed out of shape......Oh! I do place the tiles on top of a plastic table cloth, just to prevent any possible leakage from getting through to the floors.

Since I have show dogs, and do not believe in crating them, I have several x-pens set up this way. Works fantastically, since I have some very active dogs that love to drag those x-pens across the room.

| Okay, here's Milo's new ex-pen set-up. I used the tiles from Wally-world as suggested and while Milo is quite sad about the whole thing, (seriously he has been moping since Hubster set it up last night!), I am glad to have a safe place for him to be when I need to go grocery shopping. Thanks again Mardelin! |
