| protective???? or just loud? Maggie Has Gotten to where she will bark violently when I am playing with my daughter...or anyone else for that matter. example>>>last night I was playing with my daughter in her bedroom. I was chasing her around, tickling her, etc. Trinity was screaming at the top of her lungs. We had a BLAST!!! well maggie just couldn't handle it. She was barking her head off! She has done this a lot lately...if anyone is being rough...she goes nuts. I can't tell if she is being protective or if she just likes to hear herself bark it sounds more like a protective bark...it is very loud and almost mean sounding. she doesn't bite or anything like that. in fact, if you stop what you are doing and go to pet her...she is very loving. But the second you start to play rough again, she goes back at it. kinda cute, actually My uncle used to have a dog that would go crazy if you pretended to hit someone. he hated violence. if you even acted like you were going to hurt someone, he got very angry. it was sweet

| Mine does the same thing when anyone leans over me when I am lying down. He starts barking and whining and he acts like he is going to bite but he doesnt. Actually when he lunges for the bite he licks like crazy and wags his tail like he wants to be picked up but at the same time telling the person to leave mommy alone. lol, i think its cute too
