| I know there's no such thing as a TEACUP.... ...BUT....I really want a very tiny baby--3-5lbs fullgrown. Am I asking for too much do you think? I wouldn't go to a breeder who advertised teacups because they're not real, but I really want the tiny size...what do you think?? Should I not care?? I just want a tiny munchkin I can take everywhere |

| Every breeder will have runts in their litters from time to time that will end up being smaller, however, I don't think you will find an ethical breeder who actually tries to have 'tiny' dogs. I would reccomend trying to find a breeder...or several breeders...that you like without worrying about size. Once you have found one, then ask if you can be put on a waiting list or if they will keep you in mind when they have a smaller pup in a litter. |

| Thank you! That is definitely good advice. It seems to me that there are a lot of people out there puppy-milling and BYBing, claiming to have teacups and sucking a lot of people into the trap. It's so sad |

| "Natalies wee Yorkies" I just got two babies from her. They are in great health and pre spoiled. Male is only 1lb at 10wks. The female is 1.50 at 12 weeks. These two should stay tiny, looking at the mom and dad. Natalie, really takes time with her puppies and the buyer. The puppies are very socialized and vet checked. I must say---you get what you pay for life. The girl came in a pink carrier with own dress, bow, baby blanket and food and much more info. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I got Pixie from a show breeder and she was 13 months old when I got her so I knew exactly what I was getting. Cali was 1 lb at 10 weeks and ended up 5 lbs so it is hard to tell what they will end up. I wasn't really looking for a 3 lb one when I found Pixie just an older healthy dog.

| i have a a very small yorkie(under 2LLB)...and if you really have your heart set on a really small one like mine. you should wait to get it until it is at least 5-7 months old. im not a pro...but i feel as tho it is best for the owner and the pup. it allows you to see around what size the pup will be.BUT MUCH MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY...it will allow the pup to get 100% attention from the breeder and the breeder will be able to make sure the pup has no medical problems and ready to go into a loving home.i'm probaly wayyyyy off base...but its just my opinion.i got my girl when she was older and so did my mom. good luck to you! |

| Little Runts Molly was the runt of the litter. We fell in love with her personality. She was the prancer of the bunch and had this little sprite of a personality. She was itty-bitty but we adored her. Her brother was a porky little brute and the others were average sized. Molly just stole our hearts. My grandfather always laughed at me because I always went for the runts of any litter, whether kittens, puppies, lambs....you name it. I always cheered for the "underdog". They usually turned out to be the biggest of them all, too! LOL Molly will be 2 in August and she is amost 4 pounds and healthy as can be. She was definitely not bred to be small, so we had no issues in the beginning when she was tiny, tiny except making sure she ate often (even at night); and NO issues since. Runts happen, believe me!! (Actually, I think I'm the runt of my family now that you mention it!!! LOL) That would explain everything, now wouldn't it???? |

| My maggie is right at 5 lbs now at 6 months old and I take her EVERYWHERE I go. and even if she gets to 6 or 7 lbs, she will still go everywhere I go. I have a bag I got at Target that looks more like a diaper bag than a doggie bag (but it IS a doggie bag) and she fits great in it, with room to go. She is very happy and comfy in it and in fact, when I am at my office, she will go in her bag on her own to sleep, rather than in her bed Maggie's mom was 6 lbs and dad was 3 lbs. She is expected to get about 5.5-6 lbs. we'll see...I'm hoping closer to 6. so, with that being said, find a good breeder...let her know you want a pup that will be around 5-7 lbs and go from there. honestly, I don't think 7 lbs will be too much to take everywhere with you. I only say that because maggie is still so tiny to me, and I know a girl that has a 7 lb full grown girl that is totally "froo froo" and goes everywhere with her...in fact, I was shocked when she said she was 7 lbs. I though surely she was smaller. So, go for healthy and find a GREAT breeder and try to get the smallest of the litter. You do get what you pay for...and you may have to wait a little longer to find exactly what you are wanting...but it is worth every penny and worth every minute you have to wait!!!! I know maggie is...I am so glad I waited for her good luck!!!!!!!!!!!
