| Strange Back? Hi All and Good Morning, I have posed this question before but did not upload a photo so you all would understand what I am talking about. My furbaby Angel is now 6 months old and not sure if she is still growing and this will straighten itself out or if her curved back is normal. She does walk with her head down and also her tail down. If anyone has gone thru this or has a special baby kindly let me know. Thanks All Dee |

| Yep, roach back. If you were looking for a show dog and/or breeder you are out of luck. Otherwise, don't stress about it. She's beautiful! It looks like she has a really nice coat also.

| back You can wet her part and comb it as flat as you can..then you can actually see the shape of the back...temperament has alot to do with the way she holds herself also...as a pet, I do not see any problems in the future..it is a structure thing.. |

| Roach Back That is definetly a "Roach Back", unless you planned on Breeding or Showing it doesn't matter. As a Pet or your Furbaby it doesn't affect anything. As far as the posture and how they carry themselves that comes from their self-confidence or lack of it? It sounds like Submissive behaviour. It is a result of Breeding or rather a genetic defect/hereditary in fact. I'm sure it doesn't affect how much you love each other? I'ts still a Yorkie, the sweetest dog on Earth! |
