| Wow I have a porkie yorkie! Sasha went in for her last set of puppy shots today. She is 16 weeks old, and a whopping 3lbs 11oz! Already! The vet said she was a "very healthy sized yorkie" and she'll probably be a very hardy bugger! I'm glad for her, I don't mind if she's 8lbs or so, I think I'd be terrified to have a 3 or 4lb full grown dog, I'm always worried I'm gonna step on her right now!

| Is Sasha your only Yorkie? Just asking because if you have more I wanted to know what size they are. I am sure you would love her no matter what. You must be feeding and loving her very well.

| All three of mine are 4lbs full grown, and they are a fine size, though any smaller might be more easy to trip on, I don't know - but you soon get used to having them at that size around. Nothing has ever happened to mine Debra x x x |

| Yep she's my only yorkie. She eats like a champ, she loves her food, but she doesn't eat a lot I don't think, maybe 1/3 to 1/2 cup of kibble a day? I should really measure some day. Her little food bowl is pretty small and if it's full at the beginning of the day it's almost empty at the end, but I've caught my cat eating her kibble before too so it's probably not just her eating out of it. I'm trying to put her on a schedule to regulate her pottying. She poops usually twice a day. She doesn't get a lot of treats, although my son's been known to "drop" his animal crackers on the floor for her and tonight I caught him feeding her his green beans. Her breeder told me when I got her she was not going to be a tiny yorkie, that his were usually 7-8 lbs full grown, and I'm fine with that. I love her no matter what! She's still just as cute as any other yorkie! Highland - your babies are beautiful!

| Porkie Morkie here I was told my Ceiba would be 4-5lbs fully grown, but when I took her to the Vet this past Saturday (3wks, 3 days) she was a healthy 3.8lbs. For reference though, her brother weighed that 3 weeks ago!!! I'm scared to know what he weighs! They both eat 1/2 cup of food per day with a daily morning treat (guilty!). But yes, whatever she grows up to weigh, there is just more of her to love! |

| Had to laugh at your post, I seem to have a porkie yorkie as well. Mine has a little belly on her but is balanced everywhere else. She is going to the vet on Saturday and I cant wait to know how much she weights now. First time I took her to the vet she was 2 lbs, second time she was 1.7 and the vet told me feed her more, 3rd time back to 2 lbs and the vet said she was chunky! She was 2 lbs that last time at 11 weeks, that doesnt seem big to me. I think she is a pretty good girl and a cutie patootie so I dont care. And hey, I am no skinny mini and think I am pretty cute too, now I have a chunky yorkie to match

| Gordon is 19 weeks and at the vet Friday he weighed 4 lbs 1 oz.......I have no idea what size he will be grown. It he doesn't grow another inch or gets large , I will love him the same. My son and his wife own his sister.....she weighed 5 lbs 15 oz at the vet Friday. She is a great eater......she eats anything at any time, and has a larger frame than Gordon. I just wished Gordon would eat like she does.........he is a picky eater. My vet said he is healthy........and to stop worrying....hehe.

| My girls are only 12 weeks, Zsa-Zsa weighs 1 lb 10 oz and Eva weighs 1 lb 6oz but those girls can eat! I cook them a scrambled egg to share every morning with a few oats mixed in and they act like they've never eaten before. The noises coming from the food bowl area is scary - like little Gremlins. At dinner time I cook them some turkey or lamb with rice, carrots, green beans or peas and again like pigs at a trough. I offer Nutro kibble all day but they just pick at it. Not porky yet but well on our way!

LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | Any pics of your ''yorkie porky''? All the other yorkies are so cute. Mine are 3.5 pounds and 3.2 pounds. The girl is always eating something but because the boy is ill he is not allowed to eat anything besides his strict regime so i always have to separate them when they eat.

| Holy smokes and I though my Yorkie was a porker The last time I had him to the vet he weighed in at 10lbs. But I must confess he's on a diet. I have had him since last October and he was 22 months old and weighted 6.5 lbs. I have been too good to him so now he has to suffer. Never again, I promise |

| Ah..... all you's who have smaller Yorkies. I think the small ones are so... cute. But my Rudy weighed I think 4 lbs something at 8-9weeks old. Now at a year old he weighs 13.5 lbs. The vet says he's not heavy for his size, just a big boy Yorkie. I know their are some of us on here with big boys/girls and we love them all no matter what size they are.

| Sasha was 2lbs 7oz when we got her at 9 weeks old, which means she's gained a pound in the almost 2 months we've had her. She's outgrown all her clothes - she had two dresses, a sweatshirt, and a beautiful little coat and they are all too small now! I definitely need to take and post new pics of her, all my pics are old. She's changed so much, she's already going gray on the top of her head and both her ears are up now!

| How do you figure 5 pounds? When do they reach their full grown weight?
