| Would Pedialyte be ok?? Would giving Pedialyte (I don't think that's spelled right!) to my little girl help her any? She's had diarrhea all day and is just kinda down and out. I know that with our cattle we make sure they have electrolytes, and plenty of them when they have diarrhea. So I didn't know if this would be acceptable. I was so little when we raised Dalmatians I can't remember what mom did, so I thought I would ask. Thank so much!!

| Since Pedialyte has to be used in I think 48 hours after opening, you can also put it in ice trays and freeze it, so it lasts longer and you don't end up throwing any out. Also I'd try some white rice with either lamb or veal. If it gets worse then I'd take her off of all food for 24 hours, then start her on white rice with lamb or veal or even duck or turkey. Chicken is usually an allergy food. |
