| My little turkey hunter! Today, just as I opened the door to let Maddie out, I spotted a big ole turkey in our yard. Before I could shut the door with Maddie inside, she spotted it and took off after the turkey...fast as lightening. She chased it into the evergreen trees and I was so scared Maddie was back there getting her eyes clawed out by this turkey. As I'm running back there, there was such a commotion and noises and the turkey was squacking something awful. By the time I got back there, the turkey jumped...or flew over the fence! Maddie was unharmed, thank goodness. I don't know if she bit the turkey, or what, but that turkey sure was screaming. Maddie has been busy keeping our yard free of squirrels, rabbits and deer...now she adds turkeys to that list. Crazy little doggie! She feels so important!

| Big Game Hunter Maddie!!! Quote:
You have turkeys roaming the area??? Bet they are not so bold around T-Giving Time. Yesterday I was outside with Monday and Friday and there was a mean ole squirrel in the yard (I cannot stand squirrels) ... Neither Monday nor Friday even looked in his/her direction .... guess mine are not hunters??? Tomorrow is the big "Libby" day ... yay!!!

| These little dogs are fearless indeed. That turkey was huge...at least 3 times the size of her! These stupid turkeys...I saw a flock of them the other day...must have been 100 or so of them. They were in someone's front yard, so I stopped the car and held Maddie up to see them! She went crazy! They poop like crazy and make a mess. Every now and then the city traps a bunch and takes them out of town, but they always find their way back. Hopefully word will get around amongst the turkeys that there's a turkey hunter living here and they'll stay away.

| You go Maddie!!! Protect your turf!! Sissy hates squirrels, too and if any happen to even be in our neighbors yard, she is off to the fence and barking at them!! We have a few rabbits around and she'll take off after them too. She almost caught one she is so fast!! Another brave Yorkie keeping their yard free of intruders!!
