| Yorkie Dog Show Los Angeles!! I had the best time yesterday at the yorkie specialty dog show in Los Angeles! I saw the most gorgeous dogs and met the most interesting and NICE show people. You know, it's like I always say there are good and bad in every profession and hobby. I was lucky yesterday and met mostly nice and FUNNY people! The show breeders were so nice and infirmative and spent so much time with me and answered my questions! It was wonderful. I met Cindy Landry with Scruffy's Yorkes, next year's YTCLA President, Pam Wenschief of Noblestar Yorkie's, Cigale of Petite Elite and Sandy Grizzell of Wee-R-Yorkies. I met a few others as well that are friends of theirs. There were a couple there from Puerto Rico who won almost every class they entered! Their ogs were fabsack for her mommy, Amy. I also bought she and Hefner matching Harness vests in red with black pawprnt material! ulous. One of their dogs won Best in Breed. And...oh, the shopping!!....I bought the cutest bows and bands for topknots and "stick 'em up" for the fly aways! I bought Hefner some more bellybands, a new orange harness and a cowboy hat. (pictures later) I bought Chai a denim dress with a matching cowboy hat, a yellow gingham dress with a matching hat and a cuddle And for me...I bought a t-shirt and a matching denim shirt with a rhinestone yorkie applique that I just love because it looks like Hefner. I picked up some great local resources including a store that cleans teeth without anesthesia!! If you ever have the chance to go to one of those shows, I would encourage you to go! It was a great experience! |

| I am looking for a female puppy and three of the breeders I talked to on the telephone and visited in the last couple of weeks toldme about it. You may wan to go to the "all breed" show that's happening all weekend at the Pomona Fairplex. I am sure the same yorkies will be there and the same vendors and then some!! Tell me how it was if you go. I was going ot try to get back up, but my weekend is getting crazier and crazier instead so I probably won't. |
