| help me!!! hi as most of you know I'm getting a morkie and she will be 8 weeks when I get her and someone on a thread told me that they had to be 12 or 14 or 16 weeks to get shots so I'm afraid right know cause I guess that means that I will have to keep her in the house to stop her from getting sick for a long time so plz someone help me with this. |

| Will the breeder keep her an extra couple of weeks? 8weeks is soo young, and there's a lot more to worry about w/ them that young than just the shots. If you do get her at 8weeks, or any pup and their not vaccinated, no you shouldn't take them out with you. You never know what pathogens can be lurking around, so it's best to play it safe with them.

| This is just my personal opinion, but I feel that a good breeder with the pups best emotional interest will not let the pups go before at least 12wks of age. Again, my opinion. |

| My vet will start shots at 8 weeks, even though I wait to sell until they are a couple of weeks older, I always start shots at 8 weeks. Please talk to your vet about this. |
