| 4-Wheeler accident spoiled my dogs??? Ok I now have a new problem. Here it is: My daughter races Motocross and was racing on the 18th and wrecked and broke her arm, rib, and hurt her head. I have been on a leave from work so I could stay home and take care of her. She broke her humerus pretty bad, and the break can't be fixed by wearing a cast. She has to have her arm in a sling the whole 8 weeks, which is acceptable to movement, being bumped and rebroken if fell on. Anyways, since I have been home, my daughter and I have been sleeping on the couch downstairs. The dogs usually sleep in their crates in the next room, but they whine knowing that we are close by. So we put their crates in the living room next to us, and they would sleep alot better. But they would wake me up about 3:00am wanting to go outside. My 14 week old,Abbie, will eliminate both ways and so will my 1 yr old, Elle. Before the accident, they wouldnt bark in the middle of the night, but Elle usually would pee in her crate, and Abbie would on occasion. Elle has always had a hard time holding it all night. But she does fine during the day. Well last night, my daughter and I tried sleeping once again back in our bedrooms upstairs. Around 3:00 am I heard Elle barking so loud. You could tell it wasnt a normal bark, so I came downstairs and she had pooped in her crate and wanted out of there. Abbie soiled in her crate as well, so they all went outside and did their business. I CAN'T keep waking up in the middle of the night to let them out. It took me over 2 hours last night to go back to sleep. And my daughter is going back to school tommorrow, and me, going back to work. And I'm exhausted!!! Should I keep them gated up in the kitchen overnight? All 3 of em? When we would leave for a couple of hours during the day we gate em in the kitchen, and place newspaper down and Elle will potty on that. Louie always holds it, but Abbie just isnt that sure about the newspaper. I'm just now getting her to learn that she is SUPPOSSED to potty outside. So am I going to confuse her? I guess I have alot of questions here. I just don't want to be making it hard on Abbie's progress of potty training, plus I don't want them waking me up everynight having to go potty. I do limit their water, and take them out several times in the evening, and reward with treats. So I'm running out of ideas. I think this lil vacation, has spoiled em and I'm not going to ever get it back to the way it was before the accident. Anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

| i would put them in a larger area, like your kitchen and put a few wee pads down, this way they wont potty on themselves or wake you up...
