| When does first heat cycle hit? When does the first heat cycle hit in little Yorkies. I see a lot of talk about getting them spayed around 6 mos. old to avoid that first heat?

| Do you think 9 mos. is the norm? Is there an average heat for first heat cycles?

| I don't know of an absolute average, but it's kinda wide. Usually between 6 and 14 months.
