| Clothes every day? Okay, I'm wondering if any of you dress your furbabies every day.... Summerlin seems to enjoy the clothes, if she doesn't have any on, she will pull clothes out of the basket and whine until I dress her. Is this normal? I read somewhere that her hair won't grow if she wears clothes every day so I wanted to restrict it to when we were out and about, but she is unhappy with that arrangement. Any thoughts? Thanks! |

| I put clothes on Pepper only if it's cold and we're going out. Once he sees me grab his coat, he gets all happy . Or special occassion, like Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner - or Easter. Oh, he was a pumpkin for Halloween (it doesn't really count as clothes tho lol). Maybe if I had a girl, I'd put clothes on her more often, Pepper tangles even despite his silky coat , once warm weather is here, I'll ditch the clothes altogether

| I've tried a couple of times with Skippy, but he always walks around like a stiff board, so I only put them on once in awhile for a short period of time. |

| Haruka wears clothes most of the time... but not at home. I technically bring her everywhere, so outside of my house, she has something on. She goes to work with me and usually have a shirt or something on... Clothes also make their hair mutt easier as well.. depends on the clothing.. so.. I tried to be careful around that... as I love putting some clothes on her. m

| My Bijou only owns a few sweaters that I purchased this winter. She was still so tiny, no hair and so cold. We were having months straight of below zero weather so even the floors were cold inside the house. Otherwise she runs around naked and loves every minute of it.

| I try to keep Tink naked because she has a cotton coat that matts so easily. This winter she was freezing so we had to do sweaters and hoodies. Now, tshirts are fine and soon, I hope she won't have to wear anything when it's warm enough. Although I will put a sundress on her to go out shopping and my vet's office loves her in her little clothes. So maybe once in awhile. Oh by the by, I had to carry her this winter 'cause she was a baby and with the bitter -30F temps her little feet hurt her to walk. So, I'm buying her some little booties for next winter. I used to crochet them for my poodle cause he had the same problem but I never found any little booties for him. |

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | My two wear clothes 99% of the time - they also prefer having them on Well actually, I think right now Tatum could care less either way lol...but I'm sure she will grow to love them just like Stedman does. Stedman LOVES having them on though - he gets so excited and spins around in the air on his hind legs and barks when I am going to put something new on him He is such a turd

| I am guilty. Tiffany also wears clothes about 99% of the time. I dont have a little girl and might not ever, so she IS my little girl. I get a lot of joy out of dressing her and fixing her hair! She doesnt mind it either. I think she knows how much I enjoy it!

| I love buying and making my girls clothes, but they prefer to be naked, *lol* I'll keep lightweight tee's on them in the house some days, but if we're going out.. they're always in a cute harness vest or a little dress or something So they're 50/50 |

| I don't like to keep clothes on them..unless its cold in the house or they have to go out. I think they feel more comfortable without. But every yorkie is different. |

| Alright! That was the root source of my question.... I have two skin boys and with my husband, I am terribly outnumbered. Summerlin is my baby girl - she is literally my third child - every one around me has realized that. I love pampering her and making her look beautiful - you should see us when we are out on the town! She wears a dress just about every day, and on the days when she doesn't have on a dress she has on a super cute girly shirt - no tomboyish clothes for this princess... I tried convincing her that she could be naked when we were just hanging out at home, but she doesn't seem to like it. Her hair is about two inches long, but I wanted it to get a little longer. If it doesn't that's okay, I would rather her be as happy as I am |

| Mine also wear clothes 99 % of the time and enjoy wearing them. As to their coats, I am growing out both Jaden and Jewelina's coats. Jaden had a puppy cut this past summer but Jewelina's coat has never been trimmed. They get groomed twice daily, in the mornings and the evenings. I use a Mason Pearson brush and just recently got a CC buttercomb I have never had any problems whatsoever with matting or knots, of course the both have silky coats so this does make a difference, but, I haven't noticed their clothes not making their hair as long are retarding their hairs growth rate. Both of their coats grow like weeds and like I said they were clothes all the time so I don't think it should cause a problem for you and your baby |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | If I dress mine they are a mess in 10 minutes. I can't even keep Jinny's hair up she digs it out with her paw. I give up and just let her be a tom boy. LOL
