| I WANT your opinion about this website!!!! FRAUD? My parents (in california) are looking for a yorkie and I came across this website (I'm not quite sure if it's a pet store or what) but the website is nice BUT... All the yorkies seem to have REALLY REALLY short hair. Does it look like they cut the hair? For instance...."Jenna" is 12 weeks old and her hair is so short. Do you think they are lying about the yorkies age to sell people on their yorkies being smaller? Anyways, here it is: http://poshpuppy.info/Puppies.do |

| hmm. not sure. maybe those are not 12 week old pictures, maybe they were taken at a much younger age??? they seem a bit expensive, or is it just me?? i don't know, they are cute pups but i am not sure that i have ever seen a yorkie pup that wasn't cute i am no help at all, sorry. all i can think is that they look very young in the pictures, aren't even really standing up, and if they were lying about the age to make them appear smaller, they would not put the weights as being 4-5 lbs. I kinda think they look like their hair has been cut. At least the ears look like they have all been shaved. i don't know...i'm am a bit skeptical about internet breeders but then again, i am no expert. i would rather refer you to a breeder i know or maybe one from here rather than a random internet site. you just never know... good luck finding a baby

| this is my puppy at 8 weeks. I haven't done a recent picture he is almost 4 months now. You can see the coat length at 8 weeks. those puppies look more like 5 or 6 weeks. The site you posted is a pet store. You don't want to buy from there. JMHO |

| I was just browsing sites since some family breeders have websites as well...I think this is a type of "pet store" which I would never buy from. The ears DO look shaved...they are so teeny... |

| yes, just looking through their site, they even have "employees". sounds like more of a pet store to me. I would keep looking... did you check the forum here where pups are looking for homes??

No offense taken. I do advertise on a few of the other places. And yes, the buyer is welcome to come and see for themselves if they want to. That way, i get to know them better also. but sometimes visits are just not an option. I have recently had two families visit my home. so no, i don't sell strictly online. I am a pretty good judge of character and usually tell what kind of person i am talking to after just a few minutes. I also want to say, I have never sold a puppy from one of the other sites but get a bunch of emails every day. I always try to respond right back and answer any questions they might have. I have sold on other yorkie sites tho. We sellers get scam stuff too. I got an email a few days ago from one of the site my puppies are listed on and he was going to send me this HUGE money order and I was to deduct the price of the puppy and return the rest. Sound familiar? Also, when i get an inquiry, if they are serious, they get my phone number and we talk back and forth. I send pictures of parents and info about them and I refer them to my website for pedigree info. | |

| You would be very surprised to know that many YT breeders sell on Next day pets, Quality Pups, Puppyfind, LiveDeal and a few others. i have found a bunch of them. They often use the same username they use on here. Actually, it's not a bad thing but can be if the buyer and the seller isn't very careful. A few scammers have almost ruined it for the rest of us. |

| Riley's hair was pretty short when we got her just shy of 11 weeks. Here's a link to some pics at 11.5 weeks. She was very tiny with short hair. Just wanted to let you know that some babies can have shorter hair at that age, but I would research reputable breeders rather than pet stores. It's always the better route. Good luck in your search! |
