| Breeder record keeping software. What program do you use to keep your records, or do you keep them by hand. |

| I am not a breeder but I keep all of Georgies shots and doctor visits on a spreadsheet in Excel as well as file them. I wanted to make sure since he was so tiny when I got him that he was growing up healthy and I could track his progress.

| Is the CKC as stringent about record keeping as the AKC?

Do you mean online as you have to access them to retrieve......Just a thought, but what if they are down and you can't get to them...... I keep dual records, print off a report everytime I make a change....so, a paper copy is always accessible in each dogs file.

| I work in the information technology industry and even though I dont breed, I just wanted to share my expertise with you all...I would recommend you guys to use the simplest Microsoft Excel that exists in most people's computers rather than actually purchasing a fancy shmancy product...You will save more money this way but will also be able to keep track of your furbabys...Here is my two cents |

but it was saying something about having it accessible to other people, so it must be kept on line. But the AKC requires paper records so you have to print them out | |
