I've got 3 months to teach Tetley a really good trick if I can first figure out what to teach him! So c'mon, I need some great ideas!!! What's the best stupid pet trick you've ever seen? |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Here's a couple. The first one is by a YTer whose name I always forget. She won a contest one time and says it's a simple trick to teach. The second one is just one going around the net. I thought it was amazing to see a golden retriever dance. http://www.jusspress.com/day.php?use...entTime=185820 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqbVbPvlDoM

| I'm going to enter Chloe into the Mr & Ms K9 pageant. She doesn't know any tricks and I'm not sure I'm creative enough to come up with something and teach it to her by then! :P The prize package for the trick contest is SO awesome, though! I want the bed

| It is very easy to teach a dog to Yawn on command.... Say "Yawn" and apply slight pressure to the jaws where the lips stop. Almost always they will "yawn" in response. When Tetley yawns, give him a high-value treat and then repeat. Boo the Boxer yawns when given the hand signal -- I put a finger on MY jaw and tell her to yawn. I also taught her to "shell gambling game". I would put a dog cookie under the "shell" and taught her to Pick one by putting her foot on it. She only got the treat if she guessed right. Teaching a dog to "step on it" is also very easy and a lot of fun. |

| I think the put toys away trick on the link that someone posted might work! I think it would be cool if you made a mess on stage and then your dog picked it up!
