| Is she very timid? Is that why you're saying she's not your "normal" yorkie? I had a cat like that - spaying her was a necessity. She was the noisiest little thing when she was in heat, but it didn't change her personality at all. It's sad that she hides in the closet when she's in heat. I would have a serious talk with the vet or a trainer if you trust them. Sounds like you have to weigh the consequences of her becoming more frightened if she has to have surgery. Judy |

| Thankyou Judy for your reply Minnie is a scared wee Yorkie......I know she would "not" make a good Mommy & her babies would prob die ...she would be scared of them I heard getting them spayed changes their prsonality... & in Minnies Case I was hoping for a more outgoing one |

| Peanut used to get very moody when she was in heat. Spaying did not change her personality one bit other than no more moodiness.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | What do you mean strut themselves in front of males? My London is 5 1/2 mos old and she sometimes sticks her butt out and looks back and barks. She does it infront of my male sometimes too and sometimes just for fun so I don't know if she's struttin. I'm like "London!! You're so fresh!" But she's not in heat yet. |
