Thank You! Hello All! I wanted to say thank you to all who take the time to post their questions and all who have such wonderful advice! We are the proud parents of 2 yorkies! Jessie, a boy, who is almost 9...and Scarlett, our new baby girl...now 3 months old!!! Jessie is a very very sweet and laid back.He was a dream to train. He was a gift to a family who had no clue what to do with a puppy! We have loved every minute with him! So much so that my husband surprised me (along with our three daughters) with a new baby....Scarlett. We thought we did such a great job with Jessie that this one would be easy. She was (and continues to be) my reason for seeking out such wonderful advice. Thank Goodness she is so so so so cute.....because she is nothing like Jessie! So here are our remaining issues...(we-she-is finally are sleeping throughout the night) 1. Potty training!!!! She is Clueless! Is she still too young to expect that she should have SOME idea? 2. Jessie...he is not feeling the love. I am sure he put up with her the first few weeks thinking she was just visiting. I am also sure he is wondering when her real owner will be back to get her!! She climbs on him, nibbles on his ears, jumps on his face, and patiently waits for him to look up...so she can jump in and steal the bone he is chewing on. Will he ever love her? Thank you all again. I am so happy to find others who love their little ones as much as we love ours.

| Actually, we went through the exact same experience. We got Winston first, and he is perfect. Potty training was a breeze. He never chew or mess with anything other than his toys. You never have to yell or fuss at him. Then my husband wanted his very own Daddy's Girl, hence Maggie. I tell you if she wasn't so cute, we'd killed her already. Potty training was the awful, we even worked with a trainer. It was a never ending battle until a couple of weeks ago, she just turned one yesterday. She has now learnt to ring the bell to go out. So remember, there is an end to your situation. Winston didn't like her one bit at the beginning. He never realized that he was a dog until we got Maggie. It took him almost a month to warm up to the idea that she is here to stay. Now they are inseparable.

It is so comforting to know that someone else understands!!! Jessie did spoil us....Truth is....I was not 100% sure I wanted #2. I was on the fence about it when one of my best friends called in tears. She had to lay her Clara(a boston terrier) to rest and was beside herself. She called to tell me that I needed that new puppy !! She had ME in tears. Needless to say...as I hid under my desk at work...(I did not want my boss to walk in and see me balling my eyes out)....I knew that this was a choice you make with your heart. The rest would work itself out. I just wish the process would move a bit faster. My sister thought I was crazy. She now admits that she would love a yorkie too! Thanks again for being my first friend on YT!

You never know! I see you are from Marietta! We are practically neighbors! We live in Alpharetta! Maybe our puppies are related! I certainly hope Jessie grows to love Scarlett. I am not sure she will be giving him too much of a choice.

Thanks for the greeting!!! It is a small world. We have been to Rome many times to play soccer... I LOVE North Georgia and hope to be able to move further north once my girls have all graduated! (and get jobs and move out!) One in the process and two to go!!! I am sure that one day they will all have yorkies of their own. Now that the weather is nicer we can plan a yorkie day!
