| The First Groom... a question My vet recommended i don't take Charlie to be groomed until after he's received ALL of his shots... which will be at 6 months. The groomer said she won't take them until they've had rabies shots for precautions sake... which will be at 6 months. I'm not sure if this is the norm or what because Charlie's hair is VERY much in his eyes, and is very long on his feet and between his toes. He needs it cut, and even though i was a hairdresser, Charlie is too feisty for me to safely try and do it on my own. So, should i be able to find someone to groom my puppy, or am i just stuck waiting another month and a half?

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | hmmm...I think it's a personal choice - not all groomers require a shot record - the most common thing they can pick up is kennel cough - mine were groomed at 4-5 months if I remember right - so if you really need him groomed I would ask your vet first - see what they say then go from there - |
