| How to keep little boys clean? I am trying to let Dustys hair grow but I am worried. He sometimes lifts his leg and so everything goes to the side. If his hair is long how hard is it to keep it clean and dry? I dont want him coming in every hour and being wet. I wash him down with a wipe because I cant stand the thought of my little girl touching all those germs. Is it best to keep little boys short?

| Here's a little tip I learned a long time ago that a groomer told me about. Don't trim all of the hair off the end of their 'winkie'...it acts as a funnel that directs the stream downward so it doesn't go sideways through their skirt. When we groom the boyz we trim it kind of short but we still leave enough there for direction and we never have wet skirts to deal with. |

| That happens to Gus every once in a while right after a trim and bath. I thought it was because he usually squats and the times it happened he lifted his leg. That it was just my kind of luck. Like getting your car washed and it rains. After reading this I realize it always happened after I trimmed the hair. I can't thank you enough for this tip!!!

| I keep my little man's hair pretty short, but what a great idea about leaving enough for a tunnel. |

A baby wipe at least once a day seems to keep Ben smelling fine. I get more problem from them chewing all over each other in their play fighting. Puppy slobber gets stinky in the fur!

| Glad I could help everybody! You don't have to leave much, just enough for the hair to stay together a little bit at the end, so this works for the short haired boys too. |
