Donating YT 11K Club Member | Somethings wrong.... with London's nose..She keeps making a sound like if it's stuffed. She's been doing it for a little while but it's not all the time, it will just come all of a sudden and leave. It's like if something's in there, kinda sounds like a snorting pig...does anyone know what this could be? She has a vet appt coming up but I don't know what it is?? |

| Not really sure but I have a maltese that does a thing that sounds like she is snorting and I was told it is a "reverse sneeze." But nothing can be done about it. The Yorkie has only done it once and it sounded the same so just thought I'd tell you what I know. But of course bring it up to the vet when you go!

| Wrigley makes a noise like what you are describing, it comes and goes with her too. It seems to happen more late at night or early morning or when she's playing alot. We were worried it might be her trachea, but she's been checked out and the vet said she's fine and that small dogs are kind of prone to it. It's good you are getting it checked out with your vet though, let us know how it goes! Best Wishes! |

| Sara makes the same noise whenever she first sees someone. It's the excitement that makes her do it |

Our vet said it can be caused from multiple things, stress, getting nervous, excitement. Also he said small dogs tend to keep their noses and mouths to the floor alot and pick up everything and can get something similar to cats getting hairballs. Good luck! | |

| Baby always has what sounds like a stuffy nose. I think it's called reverse sneezing, even thought it sounds NOTHING like sneezing.
