| Torn between a morkie and a yorkie! Ok, as some of you know I am looking for a new puppy since my Toby passed away. I have found a breeder just 2 miles from my home who raised morkies. She seems really nice and a friend of mine has one of her morkies from a previous litter. She is soooo cute! I love the buff color but the looks of a yorkie. She has a new litter arriving any day. Now today I get a call from a breeder who lives about 30 miles away who just had a litter and is expecting another litter anyday. They are both really good people who do well by their puppies. I am not sure who to go with! The morkies she sells for $400. The yorkies she is asking $750 for the females. Please give me some pros and cons for which way to go! Thank you for any help you can give me. |

| Currently I only own a yorkie. BUT, when I'm ready for dog #2 a morkie will be a definite possibility for me. I love the blonde coloring that some of them have and since they're only half terrier I hear they're a little easier to train. Good luck with your decision.. I'm sure you'll love whichever baby you end up with!!

| The cutest dog I ever saw was a morkie - he looked exactly like a yorkie, ears up and all - BUT he was pure white. The absolute most adorable dog I have ever seen!

| Awe, I love mixes because they're so interesting looking *i have three*, but I also love the full yorkies because they're already beautiful! Good luck whichever way you decide to go.. just keep in mind that if you get a mix it can have both temperaments Good luck deciding! |

| Thanks for the help. I just have no idea what to do. Neither of them have even had their puppies yet and I really want a female. This may be answered for me if only one of them has a female. My husband and daughters are getting frustrated with me because I keep asking them their opinions too. I am going to go and see both sets of pups so hopefully one of them will jump out at me. I just wanted to get some of your opinions too. Thanks again! |
