Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | yorkies stolen in l.a. I saw this tonight. Very sad. It's horrible no matter who they belong to, but I especially hope it's no one we know from YT. Here's the caption: In this photo released by the Los Angeles Police Department, shown are two stolen Yorkshire terriers. According to police, two armed men forced their way into a family's home and stole five dogs and four purebred Yorkshire terrier puppies, including the two shown here. The animals had been advertised for sale. (AP Photo/Los Angeles Police Department)

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Oh my gosh that is just terrible!! And I too hope that it was no one from YT - although my heart just breaks for ANYONE who has to go through something like this OMG..I would just die! Those were definitely two gorgeous Yorkies. I will be saying a prayer that their REAL owners get them back home safely!

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | The more I think about this, the more it terrifies me. That could happen to any breeder.

| I saw it on the news tonight... they said it was a litter of 4 pups and the mother. The people had set-up cameras 10 days earlier... I think they had had dogs stolen before. These people called to come look at a pup. They put the pups in a big black plastic garbage bag, and then had to chase the mother around as she was trying to get away from them! I can't believe the nerve of some people. The news reported the pups were worth $2,500 each... |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | That's so sad. Where are these rotten thieves planning on selling them? I think YTers ought to be on the lookout for unusual Yorkie ads.

| OMG! Those poor babies, not to mention the Mama, not knowing what was going on! Anyone who would do something like this should go to jail forever! God, I just can't get over this thread

| thats why my babies never leave my sight... It's scary to know that you advertise and people come see hwere you live, you u operate your household, then BAM, when you least expect it, your pups are gone... I would be a nutcase if my dogs were missing.

| It happened to a friend of mine here in Texas. They walked right into her house and stole her lil Faye (never recovered). Another friend had her dogs outside and the thieves reached over and grabbed 3, one a pregnant mom. 2 were recovered, the pregnant mom one of them.

| That is why I had to change from a 4ft fencing around my MD home to 6ft stockade...then I decided on fenced concreted play yards far away from any fencing...if I had the money I sunk into that house and yard to make life better for my dogs, I would be sitting in a high dollar beach condo, instead of my modest retirement home. LOL |

| That is horrible. Here is the story along with video: http://www.latimes.com/news/printedi...-pe-california Hopefully the video will help them catch these disgusting thieves! Makes you realize why some breeders want to meet in a public place.

| then people on here have the audacity to complain when breeders don't want them coming to their home. They ought to understandd why instead of getting on here and blasting the breeder and saying they have something to hide. i will be honest, I am very leary of anyone coming to my home to see my babies. if they want to see parents, i can send pictures. i hope these sweet babies are found soon. This is horrible. |
