| Whats his obession with sticks??? I think that Sam can find any stick or twig... he is obsessed with him. When we go outside thats the first thing he does is to hunt for a stick or twig. And just when I think Ive picked them all up.. he trots up to me just to show me what he has and then when I tell him to drop it and go to reach for it.... of course he runs like a wild man! He chews on them before I can get him to drop them. Will they hurt him? So far I havent noticed any changes in his poop. Ive brought toys out for him to play with and even a stinky ole bully stick but those just wont do!

| That sounds like my Daisy. She loves sticks and knows that I will take them from her so she runs away with them. She just chews on them up and doesn't eat them. She has been doing it for 3 1/2 years now and I don't think she will ever stop. It is kind of cute watching her eyes say "look what I got, just try to get it away from me, ha ha".

| My mother had a poodle that was a "stick eater". Mom had to discourage Trixie because she was forever getting major splinters in her gums and big chunks of wood stuck in her teeth. I think some dogs just like the taste and feel of wood. |

| I guess thats Sam hopefully he will grow out of it. Today he found that he can carry rocks in his mouth I guess he is a purebred but street dog at heart.
