| Guilt Trip! I?m an english girl living in Spain and on the 18th March it?s Mother?s day in the UK so I want to fly back as a surprise for her. My in-laws are happy to look after Tiny whilst I am away for 3 days (the man of the house is working away). But I feel so guilty leaving him!! Is this normal? Will he suffer abandonment issues???? My in-laws love him to bits but he seems to be scared of them and I dont know why. Could it be because they speak Spanish to him whereas I speak English to him? Please help me, I feel like a bad mother for even thinking of going away for the weekend. Is there anything that will make me or Tiny feel better? Tiny?s mum x |

| Whenever I have to leave for vacation or a few days of anything, I make sure I leave my scent. I always leave a sock or pillowcase or even my Tshirt where Kodak could sleep on it. I even bought a cheap answering machine so I could call and talk thru it to him. They never forget you though, it's so funny. Kodak was so happy to see my daughter yesterday and she was in the hospital 13days. Even the new puppy who slept on her socks and pillow was glad to see her.

| Knowing that he's in good hands should make you feel better. Do they know how to speak English? What about taking him with you? |

| I know it is hard leaving them but I am sure Tiny will be fine. I left mine for over a week with My groomer last October. They were full of kisses and excited to see us when we returned. I think it is even better that you have family to keep Tiny. Maybe you could leave a shirt with your scent on it for him to sleep with. Have fun on your trip

[QUOTE They know how to say Ok, Merry Christmas, Sit and Drag Queen (don?t ask) my husbands dad is 76 and his mum 63. Oh they learnt sausage the other day ha ha. Wish I could take him but he isn?t allowed to travel for six months after having the blood test for his pet passport. He is still tied up in red doggy tape. Yes they do love him, it?s a pity he thinks they are scary! |

| Yes it?s about 14 degrees here and sunny, it can be hard. She was sniffing on the phone today because it?s pancake day tomorrow and she always makes the pancakes. I hope he will be ok, maybe he will appreciate me more. This could also work on my husband ha ha |

| It's funny how sometimes we worry more about leaving our furbabies than our skinbabies. Just think of it as an opportunity for your baby to learn a new language! You won't be gone too long so I'm sure all will be well until you get back.

Iwent to Turkey last year for a week,( 30 girls). My hubby lets on he's not really interested in the girls. When i got back they were tying to sit on his knee, I wonder what happened when i was'nt there. He's never told me. He thinks he's so macho. NOT.lol |
