| Any birthday idea? Haruka's first birthday is coming up in a month. I have never experienced a dog birthday before, so I am not sure what I should do. Haruka is my dearest child so I am hoping to do something special. Any idea?

| I am so bad as I have never planned a birthday party before. I cannot definitely invite tons of dogs at my apt anyway.. and who knows that it might not be so warm by next month.. I am thinking about having at least groomed and looking for a doggie spa or something. She goes to places but really haven't made any doggie friends.. only a couple. So I have to see what I can do. Any more ideas?

| For our dogs first birthday we got a cake from a doggy bakery and had a birthday party with just our family. They got a few new toys and treats. Any extra attention these dogs are in heaven (if that is possible)! The cake we got was adorable... it looked good enough for me to eat... my husband took a small taste and said I should pass The dog is only going to remember spending time with you I wouldn't stress on making it a huge deal.

| Cali's birthday is today! I made her an extra special birthday breakfast. I took her out around the neighborhood for a nice long walk and we have been playing and cuddling all day!

| that sounds like the PERFECT day.. because when it comes down to it.. the party and the gifts dont' even matter to them.. all they want is to spend the day with you.. and maybe a treat or two sounds like Cali had a great day! |

| " Happy Birthday " Cali. My Rudy's birthday is comming up on April 2nd. I saw on Tinkerbells Closet, that she has really cute shirts that say "I'm the Birthday, boy/girl." I think I will probably get one of those for Rudy. They also have cute Birthday themed toys. "Good Luck" with finding things for Haruka's special day. Rudys Mom (Dawn) |

| the best bday present you could get would be another yorkie haha...just kidding not really but sorta kidding LOL whatever you do (or have done...I didn't read all the posts yet), I am sure that it will be tons of fun and very memorable. I think having a play date is a dogs favorite bday present (my dogs anyway) having other doggies to play with is always a lot of fun. good luck!!! I'm sure you will have a blast.

| Zoe's birthday is coming up this week too, my husband and I plan to get her a doggie cake she can delve into, get down and dirty and be in doggy heaven. Then she gets tons of new dog toys, and a pretty dress. I'll post photos. I'm sure as a dog, all they want to do is feel loved and play. If only we can all fly to be with each other's doggy birthdays. Anways, hope Haruka has a wonderful (1st?) birthday! I"m sure her mama will spoil her like no other. Happy birthday Cali! |
