| Coat changing colors?? Quick question..... How long does it take a yorkie's coat to change completly? Or does it continue to change throughout their life? May be a dumb question, but I was wondering! |

| lol, it is not a dumb question!!! Everyone may have a different answer depending on what happened with their yorkies, and I'm not sure what is considered the norm, but Ginger's hair continued to change well after her first birthday.

| Puppies coats that don't begin to break color until later in the puppy stage tend to hold their color better.

| Bentley's coat right now is still mostly black on the back and legs... his head is gold with blond highlights on top... where the top knot is. He mostly still looks like the puppy I brought home, besides the highlights on top. He is 9 months now. |

| Someone said on this site that Yorkies are like camielions(s). That's the best discription I ever heard and it's so true. Buddy is 3 and still changing! I am not sure if he will be silver, black or blonde. All three colors are now in his coat Carol & Buddy |
