| Confused by AKC registration.... I have been trying to register Momiji ever since I got her (November) and I still can registere her because I don't know what color to pick.... To me, she looks like has black, gold, tan, and silver.... But as you know you can only pick 2 colors. So I send pictures but they still send me the form saying not acceptable.... What should I do???? I even sign up for the traning DVD but now that she is almost 6 month old, I feel that DVD will be a waist...... Any suggestion???? |

| Just pick two colors that are on her like black and tan. The Akc desnt care if the colors are exactly what they are only that you choose one of there boxes for colors. My breeder checked black and tan for mine and they are tan and silver

| Thanks for your advise. I'm hoping that they will look at the picture and just pick color for me and register her. I don't care if she is AKC or not but since I paid for the registration fee, I would like to recieve the paper work..... |

| I dont think they will look at the picture and pick the colors for you. Silver isnt part of the standard so thats why its not on there. I dont blame you I paid for akc dogs and I wanted mine registered too

| You can take her to an AKC show judge and have them tell you what colors they think they are. That is what I did with Jewelina.. |

The letter said I can send 2 pictures, one front view and one side view, if I can't identify the color.... That is why I send the pictures.... I hope they will help me, if not, I'll just say she is black and tan!!! | |

| Yes, I had them look her over and give me their opinion of her as well an d they thought she had great potential. They also classified her colors as Black and Tan if that helps you at all. I'll post a picture of her without clothes on so you can see her coloring better... |

| Oh thank you! She thinks she is something else, she is always walking around with her head up in the air like she's the queen or something! |
