| Guess who I saw tonight! Little Scruffy! Bless his little heart! He was wrapped in gauze and wearing a onesie. He seemed so happy and those special baths he's been getting must be helping so much because he looked so much better! Made my day to see his sweet little face! Guess what...now it is FIVE dogs that were burned by that poor excuse of a vet! Unbelievable! |

| Connie...I've been away from the board for a few days...can you point me to the post that tells about what happened to Scruffy & the other dogs? Just from the comments here, my heart is breaking & my blood pressure boiling at the same time, and I don't even know what happened yet! Regardless, I'm glad to hear Scruffy is doing better...any idea how long till he comes home?

| Blimey! Poor Scruffy! Im glad to hear that he is doing better, but he should never have had to go through that in the first place. I hope that vet is sued and that he loses all of his clients to other vets, he should not be allowed to treat animals. Im sorry I only just saw this thread (and the link to the other) The first pics of Scrappy look so bad He and Lorna are in my thoughts and prayers |

| Goodness!!!! I cannot believe what Scruffy is having to go thru. Soooo sad . I truly hope and pray that he and Lorna will be OK. My heart is breaking just thinking about their story and the pain they both are feeling. Scruffy's physical pain must be sooo unbearable and Lorna's emotional pain. How could a vet do that to an animal. And then to find out there were a possible 5 animals??????? HOW?????? Please keep us updated as you hear anything. And I will say lots of prayers for them both. |

| I cant believe i miss the original thread. I just read it, and Im schock. My heart broke when I saw the pics of little Scruffy. Im glad that Lorna reported the incompetent vet. Im so happy he is doing better. I will keep him and the other pups in my prayers. I cant believe that now the list increased to 5 pups burn by that vet. This is something that the VMA should be aware off. This vet needs his liscence to be revoke. |

| I had missed it also.. that poor little dog. I rescued a dog from a guy and she had been burnt with a light bulb all the way from her back to her neck. a pom. she had had babies and they used a heat light. it is just sickening. Tell your friend I am praying for her and her dog, and to get that vet.

| Connie, thank you for posting the link...just read through the whole thing & OMG I'm so sick over this! I cannot even imagine what I'd be feeling if this happened to Max. The new vet sounds like an angel & Scruffy is now in good hands for his care. Lorna must be overwhelmed & she's in my thoughts & prayers to get Scruffy through this ordeal & to follow through with any legal action she can against the 1st vet. I just can't help but think if this were truly an accident, the 1st vet would have taken her calls, would have done anything & everything to make amends (as if that's even possible...but I bet you know what I mean)...would be in constant contact with the new vet, paying those bills without hesitation; getting new equipment & training all the staff, etc...anyway, I hope this all works out for everyone & ends with Scruffy, Daisy, and any other dogs involved living long & healthy lives.
