| Is it just me??? ok maybe i am just a bit obsessed...but i cant imagine why there is even other breeds, wouldn't the world be great is everyone had a yorkie lol. I have had many types of dogs over the years....beautiful Shepard, sweet labs. But none of them compare to my yorkies...they just want to love you and be loved. Their love is unconditional, they follow me everywhere....and when i get home, even if i only left to get the mail....they greet me like they havent seen me in weeks. I get so upset when people are like oh you have a yorkie? yappy i bet...or i get oh yorkies are mean. Granted my little one is a tad yappy...but he is just trying to express himself, not be annoying. Or i had this ignorant guy tell me they other day,,,dogs arent humans...and hates the way people treat them like family...my dog is smarter and sweeter than most people i know! Ok, lol im done obsessing for now, will go read some other obsessed yorkie lover posts. just so happy that i found a group of friends that love and adore their furbabies as much as i do....was starting to think i was nuts before i found you guyz! Big Yorkie Hugz to everyone!!!

| I agree that yorkies are amazing. I do have a great love for a couple of other breeds but can totally see how you would think they are the best ever. I have never had a dog like my yorkie and will probably never go without a yorkie again. so yes, I am a bit obsessed to. and I tend to get very defensive when people talk stupid like that I am a great dane lover they are wonderful dogs...but they do not live long. that, I believe, is their one and only downfall. and the fact that you can't have them in an apartment (well, you can, but you know what I mean LOL). I hope to raise danes one day. can you imagine...me raising danes and yorkies. how cute would that be LOL

Ya i was being a bit over zealous with only yorkies are the best...there is so many great dogs, just was a bit miffed cause someone i was talking too was ignorant lol. BTW your baby is just so adorable! :-)

| Hear Hear Hello - I Had To Reply To This Threat I Really Really Do Agree With You About Yorkies, They Are Just The Best Little Dogs. I Too Am Glad I Now Have Someone To Share My Feelings With About These Little Darlings. A Lot Of My Friends Dont Understand Just How I Feel About My Harvey - I Have Soooooooo Much Love For Him. It Is So Good To Be Amongst Like Minded People Who Understand The Attraction And Devotion We Have For Our Babies.

| People don't understand the reasons behind why you love your pup till they get one. I know people with other breeds that have mad love for their dogs, but nothing like what I have. I know when Kodak hears my car coming, he will be right there when I walk thru the door. I'm hoping my new little girl loves me just as much I as do them.

| I have to agree...now please don't yell at me... but I wasn't really fond of yorkies til my boyfriend and I got Tigger. I've totally fallen head over heels in love with the breed. They're soooo much fun. My favorite breed's other then yorkies are: Newfies, Labs, Pit bulls (despite their bad rep. all of the pits I know and have met are wonderful family dogs, and I don't care what anyone says. I love them), goldies and many more..... for small dogs? cockers, s**tz u's (sp) and chihihuahuas.

| Reese is my first yorkie and i have to agree with you they are wonderful dogs. I have a fondness for other dogs but a yorkie has a way of being part of a family. Not many people can resist Reese after they visit even the most pestimistic of visitors. Nice to have a place to read about other parents who feel the same as us. |

| I feel this way sometimes also but different people are suited differently for dogs. People have different personalities and what best suites them and is the perfect pet may not be the same for others. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | I don't see who wouldn't enjoy a Yorkie. They are beyond cute and extremely loving! Before I got Zoey , I had a Maltipoo. He was the cutest little fella ever but drove me absolutely insane! I couldn't take it. I gave him to one of my relatives which takes really good care of him. After him , I got Zoey and she has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. When I first told my mom I wanted a Yorkie , she looked at me like I had lost my mind due to their price. I agree , I think any dog that cost over $500.00 is crazy (and $1000.00+ is insane) but I took my chances. Now , I wouldn't take it back for the world. She'll be having a little brother really soon! YT has been nothing but the best. I have had so many members PM me and give me suggestions and even go to the local store in their area to pick up a thing or two for me. You don't find good people like that very often!
