| Does your Yorkie try to TRICK YOU!! It might just be today is not my day but Tinkerbell is driving me nuts She insists on going "outside", and when I open the door she "looks" outside, she doesn't even go out and then runs to the "treat" room and sits on her bottom and expects a treat She already did this at least 10-15 times this morning The first 2 worked now I am where she is just crying by the door, I go and open the door again and she does the same thing just looks out and runs to her room and expects a treat. When she goes potty I usually giveher a treat hmmmm I wonder: WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???

| lol It looks like she found a way to get the treats without pottying! Kacee will ring her doorbells sometimes just to get me to come into that part of the house and play with her! They are very intelligent. Never doubt it.

| Sometimes when she knows I'm watching Hoku will just squat on her pee pad and then go to her treat jar thinking she should get something. Must think I was born yesterday

| LOL! This isn't 'tricking' you...your baby is training you!!! Molly 'trained' us to give her a treat both before and after she went outside! She would pull this get me to the door stunt a lot~~then bait and switch to the treat jar! Hearing about another clever Yorkie doing this really tickled me.

| I don't have pads in the house, but I keep them in the attached garage for bad weather and at night. Sometimes Kacee will walk around and then act like she has pottied and come look at me like "I did it, Mom!". I've learned to go look at the pad now to see if she did anything!

| Lucky (golden) and Cozy (yorkie) will both pretend to go to the bathroom. They will both go through the motions even assume the correct positions to get their treats. They are smart. They best is when they play the inside-outside game separately. He goes out and get a cookie so she wants one too and then she goes out and then gets a cookie so he want one too. This cycle can go on for hours. They will even I think squeeze something out just for the cookie. |

| LOL I love these cute stories. Cameron will come to me and then run to the door like he needs to go outside. I open the door for him and he backs up and just looks at me. Then he heads to the treat door. I had to start spelling "treat" when I needed my dh to pick some up. Now Cameron can spell!!!! |

| Yep, Tink does it too. She's even figured out how to "Half-poo" so she gets a treat and then poos out the rest so she can get a second treat! |
