| I'm getting really upset! I thought I had finally found a puppy. I was on "the list" I was number 4 even!! Now after the pups are here the breeder has decided that she'll send out an email and whoever calls first will get the pups I am soooooo mad!!! I offered a deposit two weeks ago, for a boy or girl, I told her (the breeder) size didn't matter as long as the pup was healthy, she said no need to send in the deposit there would probably be 4 or more in the litter since I was number 4 she didn't want the deposit. Some good news though, another breeder just updated her site and she just had a litter, but no pictures yet. So, I will be parked in front of my computer until I hear something from one of the two breeders Please keep your fingers crossed for me! |

| I know how hard it is to find the right puppy, but these things happen for a reason. If this breeder was irresponsible as far as selling the puppy, who knows if she could be trusted as a breeder. Better to find out now than later. Good luck in your search & the right puppy will come your way soon enough!

| Do you think that breeder is gonna sell to the highest bidder? If so, she is totally unethical person and you are better off not dealing with her!! |

| pups RiniWhisper..do you remember on BBC the person who had put a desposit on a $300 female..suddenly the breeder calls and said the entire litter died? Buyer got her deposit back, but was more upset about her puppy...we thought it smelled fishy, cause we have smelled so much rotten fish, LOL Anyway, she was urged to call the breeders vets,.and guess what? Pups were fine, breeder realized she could get alot more money and pulled a fast one. No idea why about this breeder..but some are rascals. |

| Between YorkieRose and me, we have seen and heard almost every story in the book. A woman near me had a Yorkie female-stud would not do his duty so she grabbed a Maltese stud and he did the deed. The litter produced 4 males 1 female. Guess what! One died-guess which one..yep, the female! The 4 males were sold as purebred without papers. As or the little female--she was resurrected with papers bought from an Amish breeder in PA and that female is being used today as a purebred Yorkie and is bred each time she comes into heat! I know this for a fact!!!!!! Could I legally do anythng about it? Nope! No animal abuse, no paper trail so no proof. |

| oh my what a story it just goes to show you huh! I have one for you Last week I called on a AKC gal, was almost three years old $1000 champion sire 5.5lbs and her son 3.5lbs 18 months old $900 also champion sired. Well she received so many calls on the female, as well she thought was in heat so her price went up to $3000 and $1000 for the male. I then had my brother call (which she doesnt know he was my brother) she told him that a Breeder named Kimberly called an offered her $3000 sight unseen (which was me and NEVER did I offer her a thing) this was all last week. So he said fine thank you yet kept him on the phone for about an hour talking about nothing. Then she called him back and said she is keeping the female now and going to breed her but would sell him the male for $700. He said no thank you. then today she called Bill (my brother) today and said I will let you have her for the $1200 if you come by 4:00 pm today. Obviously her scam didnt work trying to sell to the highest breeder. Oh and my brother told her sorry I already bought a female two days ago from a breeder named Kimberly (the phone went silent) and she said ok you can have her for $1000 without akc or $200 more with akc. Now another breeder friend of mine called her today. She was told she could have her $1000 if she came before 4:00pm today. Oh and by the way their weighs have changed the female is now 4 lbs and the male is 2lbs. Also told her the papers were in Salem and wouldnt be their by 4:00 but she could take the dog and she would send the papers. Some of these people are so wacked...when I called her originally I had to listen to her story of menopause for 20 mintues before we could even discuss the little girl, she did the same menopause story to my brother YIKES. I swear where are the sane and truthful!

| I have no clue where they are but isnt it just crazy? Im telling you when I got Lily it took forever. I talked to so many breeders and seen so many pups it took forever. Then I came across this lady in Buffalo. She lived with her grandchildren and didnt really have much thier house was small and needed alot of work done and it was in the heart of the city. She was an angel and I will never forget her. She wasnt a breeder. her 2 yorkies had pups and her friend who was a breeder was helping her sell them. She did everything right and could of sold them for a higher price then she did. Lily turned out gorgeous. and at only 4llbs full grown akc she was selling for 500. There are too many people out there that care more about the money than their dogs it seems. Its sad. I know ther are some who breed and earn money for a living but sometimes there are people who forget about the poor dogs. |

| Omg!! Kimberly, That is the craziest story I've heard in a long time!! You're so smart to get others to call for you and talk to her. Sounds like she was trying to pull a fast one and got caught. You go girl!!

| thanks I was attempting to keep one step ahead of her... oh I forgot to add the reason she was selling them...you ready for this, there was a pug dog in the house that the two yorkies didnt like and they (the humans) promised their friend they would keep their pug while she finished their jail sentence in 7 months YIKES. (that was the story to Bill and my breeder friend) her story to me was she didnt know how to breed and only had them for 2 months. Some people are just plain NUTS!
