| 6 week Yorkie Weight I was wondering if anybody knows how to determine the adult weight from a 6 week old yorkie. I am going to pick out my yorkie in a week and a half, and I wanted to be able to tell weight, color, etc. Thanks for the help! |

| .... a little of the topic but she is still very young to leave her mom..thats why was just wondering...Congrats!!!!..they say double the weight at 12 weeks...but never a sure fire sign...probaly can get an idea on coloring from the mother and father...does the breeder have both the mother and father there for you to see as well? |

| Weight Issue The usual estimate is at 3 months you double the weight and for 7-8 weeks you triple it. I don't have anything for a 6 week old. Of course this is all JUST an estimate! Hope it helps

| No real way to guesstimate the adult on such a young puppy. When you bring her home at 12 weeks, you can double the weight at that time. Also, you pay your money and take your chances on the colors. Yorkies go back for many generations for their characteristics.. |

| !!! She will be 6 weeks old in a week now. I am not bringing her home until she is 11 weeks old. Yes, the breeder does have the mom and the dad. The dad is black and gold, and the mom is a dark grey and gold. Does this mean that she will definately be darker in color? Thanks so much for all of your help |

| I have a chart. It gives an estimate of what they could be. Do you know what her weight is now?

| Thank you so much for the chart. I will weigh her when I go to visit Saturday! Hopefully she will be about the weight that I would prefer. |
