| Strange Question So I have a very unusual question that my poor Paisley will probably be embarrassed that I am even asking... When she gets overly excited or nervous very suddenly, she emits a very strange smell. It doesn't smell like when she normally has gas though. The first time she did it, she had just met a new VERY tall man that wanted to play with her and actually scared her instead. Then last night at our Super Bowl party, our neighbors brought their chiuahuas (who she LOVES playing with) over, and the 2 males (my roommate's Yorkie and the neighbor chiuahua) sort of snapped at one another. She had just had a bath and the rest of the night the terrible smell just lingered with her. What's going on and does anyone else experience this embarrassing problem? |

| My Starr used to get that smell too when she got scared or excited. It was a little leakage from her anal glands, ick! Does it smell kinda like rotten fish? If so, then that's it!

| Emptying anal glands? So I take it that's a normal thing, because Rocket hasn't done it. Is there something I should/could do to make it better? |

| It's the anal glands. When they are full like that it doesn't take much to get them to leak. You need to let a groomer or Vet. show you how to express them. |
