| Why is there blood? My little Adrian who is 21 weeks old today went potty this morning and there was a spot of blood when she went. I am sure that it is too early for her cycle to have started. She did not change her activity level or anything. she is still her normal self just a spot of blood with her urine.???? |

| Geez, that's not right I'd give the vet a call and ask them if you should bring her in. It's probably a UTI, nothing major but still needs to be treated quickly before it gets worse. I love your babies' names!

| As near as I can tell everything is normal. She has not stopped playing or anything. She runs around with her neutered "brother" all the time in the house usually under supervision. They are both litter trained ( Which I might add is WONDERFUL) I also wonder if he did not "get" her and that could be the reason for it? She is not peeing any more than normal I do not believe. She has always gone in the litter box and squatted and then came out because then "if she goes" she gets a treat. |

| I say call the vet. I let Ralphie (5yrs old) go like that for 2 months after seeing a spot of blood in his urine. It would come and go, maybe disappearing for a few days or weeks but then when it became steadier, I brought him in. It was stones and crystals. Since she is young, it could be a UTI. Better to play it safe and have her checked. Bring a urine sample to the vet. |

| and if it is crystals and you don't have it looked at, they could have to have surgery

| I didn't want to say that but that's what happened to Ralphie a few weeks ago...crystals and stones, and now a special diet. He's fine. |

| Well obviously I don't want any harm to come to either one of my Yorkies ( I Love them WAY TOO much ) I was hoping that it was just her coming in to season but I do realize that she is only 5 months old so that is probably early. I will have to make an appointment with the vet and get her in to get her checked out. |
