| I have just started using a humidifer. Since it has been sold cold lately, we had to use the heat which is gas heat and it is making us all, humans and furbabies. I don't see any harm in it as long as it is kept out of reach so they don't chew on the cord or anything like that.

| Since when do they make a warm mist humidifier? I thought that was a vaporizer. We use a cool mist humidfier in our bedroom. It helps the girls breath better at night.

| I use one too! My apartment has been so dry that I think it helps us all. I have one in the living room and another in the bedroom. |

| Our humidifier is connected to the furnace so when it kicks on it puts some moisture out with it. I don't think a portable one would hurt at all as long as it was up and out of their way. Be careful about keeping the door shut and the humidity level...my husband used one when he was sick a few years ago and insisted on turning it up on high Well, when we woke up we had heavy fog in the bedroom and I almost espected to hear the fog horn and see a freighter pass by! LOL! |

| I use one when they are sick. My vet told me that it really helps clear their congestion. |

| Vets. will even tell you to use the humidifier when they get a cold (kennel cough), so I don't see what harm it would do. It may even make them stop itching so much during this dry winter, heating time of year. |

| I have had to use one for having a cold. It seems like I would get out of bed, and the dogs would stay. I guess they really liked it. I have never ran into any problems with them using it with me. |
