| Cold Weather Folks ..How long of walks do you take your furbabies on when it's freezing out? I usually do a brisk walk up and down the road cause I worry it's too cold. But they love it and I feel like I'm being mean. |

| We don't walk unless it's at least in the thirties. She bundles up in four-legged sweatshirts and we'll walk for two miles!

| We don't walk either. We modified our huge front deck for the boyz and they have a 12 by 15 fenced area that we put sod in for them to have grass to play in. I take them out and they stay until they're cold then we go back in...and, since they're both Florida babies, they usually don't stay out long and that's fine with me! |

| Well, I'm a cold-weather wimp, so we don't walk at all till Spring has firmly sprung and it is at least in the 50's. But we spend so much time playing and running through the house that I know they're still getting exercise without the walks.

| Im with you...well, I am not really the cold weather wimp, it is my pups that are. They HATE the cold! So we just play a real lot in the house and go out only on the warmer days....at least 40 degrees.

| We rarely have cold weather, except this winter has been freezing, so walking is out of the question unless it's at least in the 60s. I'm not fond of freezing my "tush" or theirs. |

| Its -10+ here. We walk about 10 minutes daily and that is about it. I don't think Siu Pao minds the cold as I put him in 3 layers. I am the one who minds the cold

| Whoa baby it's cold outside It has been around -30 here (not counting wind chill) so I guess it's a bad time to try and train Freyja to do her business outside. Patti & Freyja |

| We bundle up and go for the same walks we always do. Actually, I think they're usually a little longer since we put so much effort into getting everyone ready it seems a shame to come back too soon, lol! Check out some of Alaskayorkie's threads...he takes his guys out for long walks, and talk about cold!!!
