Gabby thinks she's a parrot?!! When I am holding Gabby she always jumps up and sits on my shoulder. I guess that she feels safer and taller up there. It is so funny though. Do your yorkies do this?

Heheh, Yorkies like to see what's up! Yoda used to do it when he was little, but I don't think he's done it in quite a while now. It was easier for him to climb up there when he was little, too.

Yeah, she is still little so she prefers it. She always seems to head to the highest place in the room that she can find. I just thought that it was weird because I have never had another animal that did this beside a bird.

| Toto did that more when she was much younger! It IS funny ... we called her the "Queen" because she would sit up on Patrick's shoulder when he was sitting on the sofa! She would sometimes just curl up and sleep! She doesn't do it as much now since she discovered his chest! Now ... THAT"S her favorite spot in the whole world ... whether she is sleeping or just sitting up there "surveying her kingdom" ... she just loves it there! I think it makes her feel safe, I know it used to make me feel safe to lay my head on his chest! NOW ... I couldn't tell you how it feels ... since the furball took my spot!!!

Yeah, Schatzie used to climb up on my shoulder too when she was much smaller. Now she has moved to my chest of lap depending on how i am sitting. Then of course I break all the rules while driving. Schazie sets her but down on my one leg then rests her paws on the drivers door so she can gaze outside to watch the world. I know it's wrong but she loves it. However, I do miss the days when she lied on my shoulder. She was so tiny!! They grow soooo fast!!

Yorkies are just too sweet and funny. They all do things that I have never seen other breeds of dogs do.
