| I live on Cape Cod, about 3 min from the beach. Chewy had a great time when I took him this summer. He loves to dig! I just brushed hm out when I got home...Why are you having trouble? Is your yorkie going in the water? Chewy didn't go in, it was too cold.

Brushing is a great idea. I just can't believe how much sand comes off of him, even after I rinsed him. | |

| I take my Chewy for walks on the beach, but he doesn't normally get wet. He's in a puppy cut and the sand doesn't stick to his hair. When we do get him wet and he plays in the sand, we have to rinse him really well and brush him when he's dry. |
