| I bathe my Yorkie once a week because she tends to have a greasier coat. Sometimes in the winter I stretch that to every 10-11 days. I bathe my Matlese every 3 weeks because his coat is dryer and unless he's been outside a lot, he doesn't get too dirty. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Lex and Lulu both get bathed every sunday. I find that when I am in the kitchen on a sunday washing dishes they both come and sit near me like ok me next. I do bathe them every sunday come rain or shine.

| I bathe my girls once a week also. They start looking pretty gross if I wait any longer.

| Me, too! Anyone know why they start looking greasy? Actually only one of mine starts looking greasy. But they all need a bath at least every week.

For Lola, I bathe her once a week unless she gets dirty, then we do it more often. She gets brushed every day, sometimes twice a day. She's a bit of a tomboy, too. | |

| Mine get bathed about once a week. Yesterday, I came home from a long day at work and the puppies had torn up the pee pad with poop all over the x-pen and them. Ughhh! I had to bath, brush them and scrub everything in the x-pen. I love my pups but was not "loving it" last night.

| I bathe Hannah about every 5 days. After 3 days she looks so oily so I can't wait any longer than 5 days...I can't stand it. Maybe that is too much. I have heard of some bathing every 2 weeks...that would be great, but I wait any longer than 5 days this is what she looks like: |

| Hi everyone. I am a new Yorkie owner. My vet told me to only bathe my puppy no more than once every three weeks. He said more often would dry her skin and cause all kinds of skin problems which would be worse than looking like she needs a bath. It has been two weeks and I really want to bathe her now but will wait a few more days. Those of you who bathe once a week, do your dogs have dry skin problems? |
