| Anybody massage their yorkie? Buddy loves a massage. Do you massage your pup? I started when he was about six months old after reading an article regarding stress and how to relieve it in our pets. It has become one of his favorite things for me to do to him. He will jumb on my lap with his back to me and sit waiting for me to start. I work down his front legs and feet, down his back to the read legs and feet and back to the back up the neck and start over. He loves it sometimes he closes his eyes LOL when I do it. Spoiled beyond belief! Carol & Buddy |

| Awww, how sweet! Buddy is one lucky little guy!!!! Nope, ours mainly get the basic "petting". But little Bernie loves his sides rubbed (he's got scars running down both, I think they must itch or otherwise bother him) and will lay on his back and "let" me rub them for what seems like an eternity!

| Chachi and Jewels both love to be massaged. I start in their neck area and work down to their legs. When I do it they are like putty in My hands

| Punkin loves a massage. When we first got her I wanted to make sure she was used to being touched all over - to make grooming etc easier. It worked and she LOVES IT!

| Sadie gets massages, too. She likes my brother to do it best. I guess he puts just the right pressure on her. But she does what your little guy does...she comes up to me & turns her back waiting until I start to massage.

| oh is this an option? I thought it was mandatory! My babies love their massages. I have always done it and I play with each of their toes so that it will make grooming them much easier and they won't fight me so much. My little boy was a fighter when I first got him. Now he will let me do anything without putting up a fight or attacking me and the clippers.

| [quote=ARCHIE;910290]Why does Bernie have scars on his sides? Poor baby. Isn't he new to your home? I just saw this (oops) . Bernie was hit by a car and left for dead. That's (more or less) how he ended up in rescue. The rescue paid for surgery (his pelvis was broken) and he now has a plate and pins. They had to open him up several inches on both sides. Even knowing this, it took us a few days to figure out why he liked that area rubbed so much, lol.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Eddie loves massages. I used to try to massage a lab, and he didn't want anything to do with it, but Eddie would sit there all day if I didn't cut him off. Jack gets occasional massages, but he's not as muscular and I don't think he appreciates it as much.

| Awww. Yes we do massage. But Tilula likes her belly rubbed most of all. The trick is getting your cat to do it for you & here's how-You gotta see this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bP_NeenNk24 |
