| Traveling with a puppy I am going to be leaving for Florida in the next 2 days and I am wondering what it is going to be like for Sassy and for us to concerning her. She is almost 5 months old and I was wondering if they handle it well or is it going to be stressful for her and what can i do to help her deal with it. Any advice is welcome. |

| we traveled with Lilo at this age with no problem. Just make sure that you stop often for bathroom brakes, BC we did have 2 accidents in the car One time she peed in her car seat and second time she did it on my lap. Also wee had problem with her not eating the whole time she was in the car, but she did drink water. Make sure you get some of her favorite food with you or some trats. Except that everything else was fine. She slept most of the time. You can checkout the video of her taken in the car on our way down to florida http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Vkl6dv67BU Good luck with your trip.

| You never know, she might love the car! Howie does. He has a snoozer dog seat and he looks forward to his car rides. Maybe you can take little car trips around town in the days before the trip to get her used to being in there. Good luck and have fun!

| well i usually go to my dads house with her and it's a 2 hour drive. she doesn't get car sick that much (only once because i fed her before leaving the house) i would take his bed with you and lots of water. when you are at florida make sure he has all his toys and if your going outside somewhere with him for more than an hour bring water with you. if i were you i would always keep him next to you because since there will be alot of people in florida he wont be that nervous because he will be with you. i dont know if this helps.... |
