| yorkie puppy Does anyone know anyone in the Kentucky area that might have reasonably priced pups? My daughter is moving out buying a house and she loves my Mia so much but there is no way will I ever give her up so I would love to suprise her with a pup. She needs a small dog like a yorkie or chihuaha. I checked with the breeder where I got Mia to see if she had cheaper pups then the 800 I paid for her but she doesn't.

| I am in Nashville, TN and there are several breeders around here that sell for pretty reasonable. I would ask your vet if she knows of anyone. good luck...I think that is so sweet of you to do that.

| Thanks so much, Nashville is not that far from me I am in Louisville. I am glad you suggested the Vet, I didn't even think of that I will call them or maybe go up there.

| If you're open to a rescue you might check out www.petfinder.com as well. Are you sure your daughter will be home enough to care for a dog? I still live at home and often wondered how my dogs would get along if we were out on our own. I'd definitely wait for your daughter to settle into her new house before deciding to surprise her with a puppy or not. You may find her lifestyle changes too much. What an exciting time for her!
