Some do have a reaction, i'm sure your little one will be fine, but if you have any doubt, do contact your vet to make sure! Hope Chester feels better soon!! My Chanel had a reaction after she had her rabies shot, it took a couple of days for her to get over it.

Piper didn't even make it home from the Vet before vomiting. She didn't look good in her carrier, so I pulled over & picked her up. I turned right around & went back. She turned out fine. Me on the other hand had vomit all down the front of me, in my hair, down my back. It reminded me of when my son was a baby.

My Dexter took his first round of vacs sooo badly, we did the first round seperately and he was so sore for days he would yelp everytime I went to pick him up, but all he wanted me to do was pick him up and hold him. So he went for his 2nd round this past Nov, and since he gained weight and was bigger the vet gave him all his shots at once this time. Well he had an allergic reaction!!! My Dex is about 4.5lbs, hes a little guy (my other one is a solid 8lbs and handled his shots fine), and the vet told me bc of his size he had a higher chance of having an allergic reaction to the shots (go figure?) anyways... I take him home and he is whiny, clingy, needy, poor little guy, but I looked down at him and noticed his eyes were RED and swollen... so I picked him up and his whole belly area you could see big red hives!! He was running around like a maniac and rubbing his eyes and body on the carpets to itch them. I called the ER Vet and they wanted me to bring him in, but I asked them if there was something I could try first and they told me to get childrens benedryl and try that... so I did, took about 3 hours but it went away... needless to say I had a sleepless night that night! Its nerve wracking!!! Im glad your little one is ok now!! I hate vacs! I am nervous and afraid EVERY time my boys need them!! At least now their next round is not for 3 more years!
