| Bob the Lost/Found yorkie Hi Yorkie Talk!! I havent been on for awhile but wanted to say hello and give you an update ... Bob is doing Great! I cant say enough kind things about him. He is by far the BEST dog I have even known in my life and I love him totally. And what is amazing is that he loves me even MORE as if thats possible! It was the luckiest day of my life when this little starving dog walked into my life. He was nearly dead from thousands of ticks on his body and burrs and stickers in his hair..Poor little soul..I had no intentions of keeping this dog because I have so many others..But he won us over and he is now KING of the house! There couldnt be a more gentle and loving soul than he. I ADORE him and cant imagine my life without him. (Do you all think I like this dog? ) Anyway..I have lots of updated pictures if you all are interested. Once again..Thank you all for your support and questions I had way back in June ....You were all so great! |

| Some of you may recall that I posted photos and ads and listed him on the internet and everything I could to try and find his owners. Nothing..I couldnt imagine how someone was not missing this dog. I guess hes not totally yorkie but a mix? I dont know but Ive literally been around dogs all my life and I have (and dont laugh) but 7 other dogs. I have a small farm and have a Great Pyr and an Anatolian Shepard and 3 labs a mixed and a mastiff. Its not like I havent know other dogs. But there is just something about this one that is so very special. And by reading on here, I think it must be the Yorkie in him. I can so understand how and why you all LOVE your dogs. They are something else. I think of him as my little baby boy and treat him like that. He has a good life now and everyday Im so thankful that he came here. My husband says that with all the ticks that were on him he would have died very soon. He has gained around 5 lbs since we got him. Hes a pretty big boy, 18 lbs so he must be mixed..but I DID catch a photo of him where his eyes are green...In this photo he is saying...I REALLY dont like this cat... |

| Thank you so much for the update!! The before/after pics are unbelievable ... he doesn't even look like the same dog. I have witnessed rescues who are sick/sad and then later after they are all healed physically/emotionally and ready for "forever homes". It never ceases to amaze me what a little medicine, healthy food and lots of love will do. How could you not love Bob's gorgeous face?? Congratulations!!

| You all are so sweet! I literally have tears in my eyes thinking what might have happened to him if I had turned my back on him...Which I would never do..He actually had a little black puppy friend with him when he came and I took that dog to a rescue where I still keep in touch with them on her. They havent found a home for her yet because the lady there says that people just arent looking for a ordinary black dog. I cant say enough good things about Bob..He adorable, sweet and great with kids. He loves it when the grandkids come over. He sleeps right beside me and has his own pillow and blanket..(naturally)..He loves nothing more than for me to be with him 24/7 ...I find that he does have a definate problem with seperation anxiety but he doesnt do anything to destroy the house but he gets distressed when I go to work. My husband has his own business and cant work in bad weather so Bob does have someone with him a lot. But I wonder what his life was like before.. Anyway..Yes it IS a happy ending and thank you all for your support! |
