| What if you you wrapped a sheet around it? If you are good at sewing you could make a sleeve for it.. something where he couldn't get his paws in the little holes.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | When Bengi started to clib the baby gate I put cardboard on the side of the baby gate he was facing. Then he started to jump it, so now I'm using a piece of plywood almost 4 feet tall! |

| I think Tootie is part CAT! He got over ours too, I got a taller one, he got over it too.. I resorted to a "NO" method with him. I sat outside the gate and when he "touched" it, I lightly hit the gate and told him NO... finally, after a million tries he decided it wasnt worth it anymore... my lab was trained from a baby, she can WALK over them but will not even attempt it... I dont know what I would do without my gates....

| When Kona and Bernie started jumping over the gate, I used a 2nd one and placed it on top. I think then it was too high for them to climb and then jump over.

| Rocky (5.5lbs) can clear 2 stacked baby gates when Sunnie's in heat. We now use the ex-pen with a wire top. He's the only one who goes over the gates, the girls behave. He climbed the curtains when he was a baby.

| Let me tell you, I have a climber just like yours. I had a small kids gate and was having the same problem you are. I bought a larger size placed plexi glass inside the new one that kept him inside for a while. He figured out to jump over . I had to be smarter then him.. I use the new gate with the plexi and place the old gate on top and trust me he can not get out. I do not trust him enough to run the house when I work. I did a thread on this so you may try the search engine.
