| Update: Tia got her cast off Well today was the day and my little Tia had her cast taken off. I was so nervous when they removed the bandage from around the leg. i was hoping that the incision from the surgery healed nicely. Things look pretty good. He removed her stiches (she didn't like that) and she kissed my hand through out the whole ordeal. The vet said dogs will do that when they are itchy. I think she was trying to say "Mommy, I love you. And if you love me, you'll get me the heck out of here!!!" Shes had the cast off for a few hours but hasn't started to use the leg. The vet said she will probably "find it weird" for a day or so and won't use it. So we'll keep our eye on her. We are going back to Wiinipeg in a couple of weeks and the vet there will x-ray it again and see how shes doing. Again, thanks to all of you who had posted during the time leading up to the surgery and after and all of your prayers and well wishes. to you all!!!

| Yay, Tia! You'll be running around like nothing happened before you know it. Then you'll give Mommy a run for her money, won't you

| I've had three casts in my lifetime, and I didn't want to use the limb at first either She'll be okay once she realizes that it doesn't hurt anymore, but it'll probably be weak at first.
