| Big Boy Hi everyone, it's been a while for me. My concern: I have a 7 month yorkie, Louis Bear. He is an AKC dog, so I am wondering why is he 10 lbs??? I asked the vet and he said he is in excellent health. He has longer legs but still a full breed. I do take him on walks and the vet says he is "buff" and that his weight is more muscle than blubber. I looove him to pieces, I'm just wondering if there are any other mommies with big furboys? Anyone? Please? Louis'Mommy

| My boy is 10 lbs too. He is akc to. It doesnt matter what registry from thier size is determined by their genetics. My boy is extremelly smart. Much smarter than my 6lb yorkie. I am sure your big guy is adorable. Just love him to pieces they are all unique thats whats great about yorkies

| Loki is also AKC and about 11 lbs. I love his size. He's still tiny and very portable, but he can hold him own with the big dogs!

| Louis is super smart. At first I thought I was just being a mommy and didn't want to brag, but other people notice how well behaved he is. He isn't hyper, he can sometimes be an old man. But when he is in his playfull mood, watch out! I just love him. He still is portable and does awesome in his carrier. He never seemed big to me until I saw a 5lb yorkie right next to my boy. I thought am I over feeding? Thanks for helping me feel better. Yall are great!

| How big was he at 3 months?? I keep thinking my boy is going to be big b/c he already looks a little longer than I thought he would . Oh well, after going through him being sick, I couldnt imagine doing it with a 1 or 2lb baby. |

| Louis was about 5lbs at three months. Like I said, he never seemed big to me until I saw a 3 year old yorkie at just 5lbs. Then I know some people that own or know people who own those 2 lbs babies and make a huge deal about my Louis' size. It bugs me because I love him no matter if he wighed 20lbs. Im just gad he's not any smaller because I would worry a lot more about him. He is perfect for me. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels the same about bigger furbabies

| Yeah, Peeka Boo is about 3.5 now. I never noticed until someone said their 1yr old is 3-4lbs. But its fine, he's still the cutest little cutie. |

| Now my guy is BIG!!! At 3 months old, Stomper was 3 pounds. The vet told me he would be about 9 pounds, then it changed to 11 pounds and then 13 pounds. I took Stomper to the vet and he is 19 pounds! He is not fat either! He looks just like a yorkie just 4x the size! I forgot to mention...he has papers!

I found this site looking for larger yorkies 2yrs ago. Buddy was 6.5 at 14mos when I bought him. I did not know the difference at the time either. He is full bred and is EKCH registered. I just thought they were larger in Hungary! He will be 3yrs old on Jan 27th and weighs 13.5lbs. He is solid and very muscular and just a love. I look forward to talking with you in the future about our "TEAPOTS" which they seem to be know as on YT. There are several here and us owners just have more to love. Carol & Buddy | |

| Was in Petland here there's a monster sized Yorkie 7 month old return of get this 35 pounds. not an once of fat. with papers. and they want $495. and they claim it's a steal. He's a poor fella nipper, overexcited and nevous piddler. if it wasn't one I don't have the money and two gives them the space to drag in another small baby. I'd have maybe grab him. this Petland is really bad. it's always get older puppies that were returned due to being to big. {min pin that's in the 25 pound range and there's four of them.} at a 1 year old. $1500. street kittens so wild, don't put your hand in there you will get bit. $30. there's no real animal rescue in this area. sigh Ty ty |
