| Shower fear Need help with this. I think my Tobie has separation anxiety. Unless I am within eyesight of him at all times, he freaks out barking and whining. When I'm in the shower he's jumping up trying to see in the shower. I've started closing the bathroom and bedroom doors to keep him out while I shower but he still cries. The other thing is that he won't lay on his bed, he's got to be on me at all times unless he's running around playing. I tell him no when he starts trying to jump on the couch, but after several times feel like a meanie. I know I am new to this yorkie thing but someone PLEASE HELP, not sure I am doing the right things to foster a healthy yorkie and being a bad mommie. Thanks Tonya |

| It sounds like he does have some separation anxiety. Is he still just a little guy? When Ginger was real small and just from the breeder's she was like that. She had always been with her brother and sister so being alone was difficult for her. Over time he will get more independent. I wish I could offer some advice for the meantime but I caved like a softy with Ginger every time she cried. All my showers were rushed. Lol
