| Abby is in HEAT help! I thought I would have Leo fixed before Abby comes into heat. Which will be in Feb. then I was planning on having her spayed once I got back to work. Abby has been spotting for at least 3 weeks. How much longer will she be like this? Leo really hasn't tried to mount her but I just got my first male dog in my yard this morning. I have been switching back and forth with having Abby in her crate and Leo in his crate. No way do I want puppies. So is this going to last much longer? Thanks |

| 3 weeks or sometimes longer....your doing great keeping them crated making sure no accidents happen! Studs can be quick, slick and crafty little devils and before you blink an eye a stud can mount!

| Thank you Kimberly, I think she is now close to if not in full heat. Leo is in his crate crying to get out. Normally he don't fuss being in his bedroom (crate). After I posted this I found 'Breeders forum and someone posted about 'No Swelling During Heat??? ' and I learn some from that post. I will just be glad when Abby's heat will be over and even happier once I get Leo neutered. Stephanie, Abby and Leo |
