| Great Site For Legal Recourse Concerning Sick Pups Bought. There have been so many threads lately about Yorkies bought sick from petstores/breeders that I thought this site may help out some. I found it while trying to find a lemon law for Illinois for a gal on her that bought a sick pup from Petland. Anyway, this site has links for laws in each state pertaining to animals. I'm adding the link to where you can put in your state and it will pull up animal laws in your state. It covers everything from dog bites to cruelty to sick pups. I had always thought that NJ covered up vet bills up to the cost of a sick pup but found out that it covers twice up to twice the amount paid for the pup. I wish that all states had this type of protection for the buyer maybe then these stores would think twice about selling a sick pup! Elaine. http://www.animallaw.info/statutes/s.../stusnjset.htm |
